Practiced Architecture for over 40 years.
Received both his Master in Urban Planning and Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Michigan.
Received the Lifetime Achievement Award from the AIA Huron Valley chapter in 2013 for his expertise that helped Lord Aeck Sargent win two National AIA Honor Awards, three P/A Awards, and more than 30 regional and local AIA Design Awards.
Past President and Member of the Board of Sponsors for the Architecture Society of Atlanta.
Past Member of the American Institute of Architects.
The Terry Sargent Scholarship Fund was created in his honor to be awarded to an undergraduate architecture student who would be the
first generation in his/her family to attend college at Terry's alma mater, the University of Michigan Taubman College of Architecture & Urban Planning.
Lived in Ann Arbor, MI with his wife, Jean, until his peaceful passing surrounded by family on November 3, 2014.
