For the Rutledge-West expansion at Camp Twin Lakes, Lord Aeck Sargent developed a comprehensive master plan to accommodate 3,500 additional campers annually. The new campus features a range of universally accessible facilities, including 20 camper cabins, a dining hall for 300, a large gymnasium, medical services, arts-focused spaces, and outdoor recreational areas. The design emphasizes flexibility and future growth, integrating the site’s natural beauty, particularly its two lakes, while organizing structures around a central active space. The project aims to enhance the camp's capacity while fostering an inclusive, supportive environment for children with life challenges.

"As I stood in the center green watching these incredible children use the accessible playground, and easily navigate the paved areas around camp, my heart exploded with pride and gratefulness that we have created this space for them to just be able to be kids and experience the joy of overnight camp. It has been a journey, and I hope each of you is proud of what we have created together."
