University of Georgia

Delta Innovation Hub

The Delta Innovation Hub, part of UGA’s new Innovation District, is a pioneering adaptive re-use project that transforms four historic processing plant structures into a vibrant center for entrepreneurial activity. It features large open areas for meetings and events, a versatile makerspace, restored historic skylights, and thoughtfully designed office spaces for the university's Director of Strategy and Innovation and startup companies. The design seamlessly integrates modern systems and technologies while preserving the building's historic character. The Hub's new expansive window openings provide abundant natural light and connect the interior with the revitalized natural landscape, creating an inspiring environment that fosters collaboration and innovation.
