Agnes Scott College

Campbell Hall Rehabilitation

Lord Aeck Sargent worked with Agnes Scott College to rehabilitate the historic Campbell Hall, built in 1951 as a science building, into an innovative livinglearning community.

The project combines stateof-the-art academic and instructional facilities with semi-suite-style rooms for 96 students. The academic portion of the building houses classrooms and learning centers, an auditorium, conference and collaboration spaces.

Campbell Hall’s renovation is a part of the College’s new residential sector plan to rehabilitate key facilities in preparation for the college’s planned enrollment growth over the next few years.

The rehabilitation of Campbell Hall was sustainably designed using a hybrid geothermal HVAC system that achieved LEED Gold Certification.
