At the intersection of Peachtree and 15th Streets, the Arts District Plaza has undergone a comprehensive transformation led by Lord Aeck Sargent in collaboration with Midtown Alliance to reinforce its role as a cultural gateway. Enhancements to the southeast and southwest corners include strategic hardscape and landscape updates that introduce native plantings, expanded seating, and improved lighting to elevate user experience and accessibility. Central to the southwest corner is the prominent 30-foot Sabine Woman sculpture by Dorothy Berge, reinstalled to provide a bold artistic anchor. Meanwhile, the southeast corner, framed by the new Jones Day Building, reimagines a previously underutilized water feature into a dynamic, tiered focal point. Together, these improvements cultivate a space that balances public functionality with a celebration of Midtown’s arts identity.
