Axis Midtown (formerly Broadstone Midtown)

Axis Midtown, located at the southeast corner of Juniper and 6th Streets in Midtown Atlanta, epitomizes urban living through its unique architectural approach and context-driven design. This multifamily residential project, developed by Lord Aeck Sargent, features five residential levels atop a podium with structured parking for 230 cars, leasing offices, and street-accessible live/work units. The design integrates large community terraces that extend the living spaces and offer views of the Atlanta skyline and surrounding neighborhood, fostering a connection with the vibrant Midtown atmosphere. The building’s midrise architecture and boutique hotel-inspired interiors provide residents with an intimate and individual living experience. Amenities include a fitness center, bike storage and repair facility, dog grooming room, fenced dog park, club room, and multiple terraces. Sustainable features such as energy-efficient lighting, low-flow plumbing fixtures, and NGBS Bronze Certification emphasize the project's commitment to environmental responsibility. Challenges addressed in the design included respecting community heritage during site development and adhering to transitional height plane requirements, resulting in creatively stepped outdoor terraces. Axis Midtown’s strategic location ensures accessibility to public transit, Piedmont Park, local dining, entertainment, and employment hubs, contributing to the dynamic and integrated urban lifestyle envisioned by Lord Aeck Sargent.
