City of Cincinnati

Westwood Neighborhood Plan

The neighborhood of Westwood, Cincinnati's largest by area and population, is embarking on a collaborative planning process with Blume Community Partners, Lord Aeck Sargent, and the City of Cincinnati to create a new neighborhood plan. With a population of 33,774 as of the 2020 Census, Westwood is developing a legal document to guide its long-term physical, social, and economic development. The plan will set the community's aspirations, goals, and strategies for future growth, addressing local concerns and shaping the neighborhood’s future. Lord Aeck Sargent is responsible for conducting urban design assessments, developing the neighborhood framework, and designing up to five catalytic projects. The process includes extensive community engagement, concluding with a final plan approved by the City Planning Commission and City Council.
